Taking the old Gatwick Express as an example would this header be OK?
19.00 Victoria-Gatwick Airport
73111 8208 8309 8311 9107
9/325/327
16.6.84
OK so the Mk2 stock is unpowered, but in fixed rakes, and the GLV is powered which could be deemed to be important in performance terms.
There's probably no right or wrong way but I thought I'd ask just in case the RPS does have a protocol for such eventualities.

How do you deal with a 33 on the front of a 12 VEP formation when both the 33 and the VEPs were powered? David Lloyd-Roberts

Precisely.
And then of course there's a 33 with a TC and a VEP
Don't get me wrong flexibility is good but it doesn't help with recording it for posterity.
