Northern Explorer 55 West Day Ranger Unlimited off-peak travel for anyone 55 and over for one day on Northern services only around Cumbria, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and parts of Derbyshire. It extends from Carlisle in the north to Crewe and Stoke-on-Trent in the south and from the Lancashire coast in the west to Greenfield, Hadfield and Edale in the east and includes Buxton, Blackpool, Chester, Liverpool and Southport. WHERE CAN I GO WITH THIS TICKET? The Northern Explorer 55 West Day Ranger allows you to travel along the Cumbrian Coast line from Carlisle to Carnforth, along the Hope Valley as far as Edale and to Buxton in the Peak District. You can also travel along the West Coast Main Line from Oxenholme Lake District to Wigan North Western and the branches to Clitheroe, Colne, Morecambe and Windermere.
