A bit surreal but here's how a 6 car 323 set handled the incline:

0.00 BROMSGROVE 0.00
0.86 MP 54.75----- 1.18.72 57
1.11 MP 54.50----- 1.34.32 59
1.36 MP 54.25----- 1.49.55 60
1.61 MP 54--------- 2.04.32 61
2.11 MP 53.50----- 2.33.16 64
2.61 MP 53.00----- 3.01.94 64
3.81 Barnt Gn fb--- 4.00.74 86/92
-------------------- XSL 40/53

6.44 LONGBRIDGE-- 7.03

A 3 car almost equalled this but eased off at the summit as it was calling at Barnt Green.

In contrast my last Voyager run passed Bromsgrove station (new) at 81, reached 83mph and had a minimum of 64mph recovering to 67mph at Blackwell in the rear of 5coaches on a 221 with a keen driver and a full gps signal,
