Peterborough 0 act 0.00 Pfm 4 3mins late Tallington 7 act 5.59.5 Stoke Jn 14.5 act 13.16 Grantham 17.5 act 16.21.5 Claypole 22.5 act 21.23 {one rec.) Newark NG 26 act 23.44.5 Retford 35.5 act 33.05 {one rec} Lov Carr Jn 43.5 act 39.55 Doncaster 47 act 44.08 Pfm 4 On Time GPS fine of course. Exemplary observation of restrictions, hovering between 124-125 where permitted. Could possibly do it faster, eased off early for Bawtry, maybe slightly checked inwards from Loversall. Plenty of room, seats may be a bit firm but bright and airy surrounds. After passing Adwick in 4mins and half a second it all fell apart as I had already spotted the preceding XC running 9 late and the Donc-Leeds stopper was held at S Elmsall to follow it. 23m 34 to Wakefield and 13m 05 to Leeds. Ardsley was passed however in 4m 40 despite having to be reined back slightly by sigs. Only a few of my class 91 runs have been marginally under 5 mins. The word on the train confirmed that the East Midland train diagram will be taken tomorrow and UFN (no guarantees!). This is the 0700 Hull-KC, 1103 KX-LDS, 1345 LDS-KX 1718 KX-HULL and 2028 HULL-DONCASTER. IU 15.05.19 |

Caught the 1103 Kings Cross-Leeds at Peterborough this morning-the first public service. Caught the train from Wakefield. Note there are a number of seats where window view is either restricted or not at all. The latter at the end of coaches, First class a little better and coach M all seats has good window views. |
