Through Azuma service to Aberdeen starts on November 25 and to Inverness on December 9.
There will be one Azuma through service to Inverness departing Kings Cross at 1200 noon and arriving in Inverness at 2005. It will return at 0755 to reach Kings Cross at 1549.
Initially there will be one through train to Aberdeen. It will depart Kings Cross at 1400 arriving at 2116. The return departs at 0752 to reach Kings Cross at 1451.
Note that all LNER’s Anglo-Scottish trains stop at intermediate stations. Therefore their benefit also lies in the fact that readers can take LNER Newcastle-Aberdeen, Edinburgh-Inverness or York-Glasgow.
As previously reported Lincoln also joins the Azuma network on October 21.

Its now expected that LNER HSTs will be withdrawn by "mid December".
