INTRODUCTION OF NEW TRAINS / MULTPLE UNITS – (THIS NOTICE APPLIES TO THE LNW(N), SCOTLAND AND LNE ROUTES ONLY) FROM WEDNESDAY 01 NOVEMBER 2017 ALL STAFF SHOULD BE AWARE OF THE FOLLOWING FEATURE OF THESE TRAINS: TransPennine Express (TPE) has advised us that their new train fleets (Cl.68 locomotive, Mark 5A coaches, Cl.397, and Cl.800/801/802) will have a Non-Yellow front end, as permitted by National Notified Technical Rule GM/RT2131. This only has the provision of the required Headlight and Marker Lights for compliance, and therefore only the trains that are non-compliant to the TSI require yellow fronts.
NR 28.10.17
Will the Class 800s be running in 10 car formations!!

I don't think many stations served by TP are long enough to contain 10 car formations - maybe Newcastle, Darlington, York, Leeds, Manchester Piccadilly & Liverpool Lime St., but I cnnot think of any others.
