The Great North Western Railway application for Euston to Blackpool services has been approved by the ORR. It's hoped to commence services using released ECML class 91s plus 6 Mk IV coaches next May. Will NR revise linespeeds to allow 125mph running without TPWS equipment on the straighter sections of track? |
