Today's announcement of the WCML Franchise "winners" First/Trenitalia brings with it the intention to refresh the Pendolinos to get more years of service from them and provide more services. Voyagers are to be replaced by new bi-modes and from Dec 22 trains will serve Llandudno, Gobowen(!) and Walsall.
