Some lunatic may have done it descending from Marsden to Huddersfield but today my Leeds-Halifax-Victoria class 158 achieved 95 mph between Mills Hill and Vitriol Works on the newly upgraded 90 mph section of the Calder Valley line. Faulty speedo of course.
