Today's 1300 BBC news report regarding a 500 metre dewirement at Ealing last night puts the cause as a Hitachi test train hitting the "wrong part of the overhead" with the "wrong part of the pantograph". All 4 lines closed with Paddington closed until lunchtime today. Trains just starting to return.

Caught the 19.12 PAD BRI today. Diesel all the way, presumably due to o/s issues on the down main?
