I was unaware at the time, only found out when checking the time at Bromford Bridge Jn when I got home. I spent a few hours in Birmingham, in the city, with the machine still switched on in my bag. On the return train a bit further east than the Toll motorway (but within a mile or so) it jumped backwards 11 seconds to the correct time. I have never noticed it do this before. Any ideas? I have a Garmin 60CSx which has performed well for years. On Wednesday we went from Derby to Birmingham and as we passed under the M6 Toll the time jumped forward 11 seconds. Have had a few minor incidents in the last few weeks but nothing like yours that I've noticed Bob. A watch that kept perfect time has gone a few seconds out of synch twice with the GPS by 2 secs. Probably the watch but have checked that both are in line with the atomic clock at the time of writing so will monitor this. Ian U |
