Without checking everything the ECML timetable almost returns to normal from the 12th September. Leeds services gaps are filled, but the proposed Huddersfield extension is not happening, although Q crew training paths are shown.
According to the September Modern Railways the proposed May 2022 ECML timetable is potentially dead in the water as detailed in several pages by Captain Deltic aka Roger Ford. Amongst other things reliability is questioned, all freight trains cannot be shoe-horned into the timetable without moving passenger trains and the end of the consultancy period in October is unlikely to be long enough. Azuma cracking problems are another deterrent so class 91 fans can probably see full sets in action until May 23, the rumoured new implementation date. The Open Access KX-EDB timings which fall beneath First's expectations may well continue until then.

According to the same Modern Railways there is power supply problems at Retford & Grantham connected to the distribution company trying to equalise the three phase supply as these two feeder points to the railway only use a single phase and the other two phases have to be balance by other users that of the single phase which is proving difficult even more so with more electric trains due to perate.

LNER have confirmed that the May 22 timescale is unattainable and May 23 has been substituted,
